Food & Drink Information
Ingredients:
1-cup Walnuts, chopped
7-ounces Green olives with pimentos, pitted, chopped & drained
7-ounces Black olives, pitted, drained & chopped
1-cup Mayonnaise
1-small Onion, finely chopped
Dash Salt
Dash Pepper
Instructions:
Combine chopped walnuts, chopped green olives, chopped black olives, finely chopped onion and mayonnaise; mix well. Add a dash of salt and a dash of pepper. Serve with bread as sandwiches or serve with chips or crackers as a dip. For a healthier twist use this as a dip with vegetables and replace regular mayonnaise with fat free mayonnaise.
Makes about 3 cups
Note: To make it spicy add 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper or two medium chopped jalapenos. Also, I have made this with stuffed jalapeno olives to give it that extra zing. Another way is to buy different olives and divide up the fourteen ounces and give it a different and unique taste to your desire.
